This site is dedicated to the memory of Bill.
Bill was born in Battersea London on December 29, 1924. During his early life, he was part of a large family with a brother and three sisters. His involvement with Arthritis Research is linked to his wife Jean, who he cared for throughout her many years suffering with Rheumatoid Arthritis. His dedication to her and generosity to everyone that he knew well is one of my enduring memories. He is much loved by all his friends and family, including son Paul and Grandchildren Tom, Sophie and Alice, together with Brother in Law Percy.

Thoughts
Kimberley and I were married on 29 May at the beautiful Cley Windmill in Norfolk. We had our closest family there and although neither of my parents were physically there,I know they would have been so happy for us.

It's now 4 years since dad passed away and it's hard to believe where the time has gone. So much has happened and I often think I must ring him and tell him about something even after all this time. His first Great Grandchild was born in May and I know he would have been so proud. He loved his family very much and is still sadly missed.

it has almost been a year since he went to sleep, and it is still hard to think he is not here. it only seems like yesterday we went to see him and he was sitting on his stall watching racing. i miss you x?
